SS Project
Students have two project choices, a Southeast Asia Review Ball or a cumulative travel project. Either option can be completed ENTIRELY in class, if students use their time wisely; I did not want it to interfere with their other classes/final exams. I told students to view it like "extended classwork,” but it IS a project. If they use the checklist I provided, they should be just fine :) It will either be due at the end of class Wednesday or beginning of class Thursday (depending on how they are working) and it’s the only thing we will be working on for the last week of school. Click below for more details and rubrics.

Option 1: Travel Project
- This project is meant to simulate the real-life experience of booking travel to foreign countries, figuring out where to stay, what to do and staying within a budget.
Option 2: Southeast Asia Review Ball
- This project reviews key concepts we covered for Southeast Asia (for example how Japan rebuilt after WWII, China’s Cultural Revolution, the Korean and Vietnam wars) and let’s students get crafty by putting it together in a fun and creative way. This project also serves as a “study guide” so whether students choose this version or not, they all received a copy so they know what concepts will be covered on their final exam.
