7th Grade Coosa River 4-H Science Field Trip - CLICK BELOW FOR PERMISSION SLIP
DATES:
PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING: WEDNESDAY JAN. 20th at 5:30pm (Inman auditorium)
About:
This trip is directly related to our science standards (S7L1 and S7L4) covering ecology. As a school, we feel this trip is extremely important to the mastery of these standards for the following reasons: Students gain an extended learning opportunity to explore hands-on science in nature. Also, other content areas use the trip as an interdisciplinary resource in their lessons by connecting science to other curricula. From an educator’s perspective, it is an absolute joy to see our students interacting in a learning environment outside the classroom.
The cost of the trip is $200 and includes travel on coach buses, lodging (3 days, 2 nights), food, and 12 field study courses. You can pay the full amount OR pay in installments by sending your payment in the form of cash or money order, made payable to Inman Middle School, (NO CHECKS ACCEPTED). Ms. Cannon (team 7-3) will accept these payments and send a written receipt home with your child. You may also pay online at www.atlantapublicschools.us/inman
